Asia Agri-Tech Expo & Forum launch lured 20,000 visits in 3 days


The Asia Agri-Tech Expo & Forum as well as Aquaculture & Livestock Taiwan Expo & Forum had concluded on 30th September at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.

Both these exhibitions had lured over 20,000 visits from 37 nations. And, the total sales were estimated to be nearly around 17 million US dollars.

These events had been organized  by UBM Asia and co-organized by Council of Agriculture of Taiwan (COA) that is the first edition of Asia Agri-Tech Expo & Forum. They demonstrated the most innovative technology to upgrade the industrial structure.

There were more than 50 onsite matchmaking meetings and 40 conference sessions that had attracted as many as 6,000 visits.

The result revealed was that the development of agriculture in the region of Asia-Pacific is on an urgent re-conversion and also some cross-industry alliance opportunities. It might be expected that Taiwan is to be the hub for Agricultural technology to promote the investors and start-ups.

Ms. Sabine Liu who is the General Manager of UBM Asia, Taiwan Branch commented on the overall success of the impressive exhibition.

He mentioned that the unique fusion of food safety and climate change had triggered a boost in agricultural business opportunities to the pinnacle. One of the exhibitors, Land Green showcased Seaweed Organic Liquid to upgrade the blossoming and fruiting stage and also improving plant resistance to extreme weather conditions, plant maladies and pests.

Another interesting element of the show is the IoT or Internet of Things technology.

A majority of the exhibitors portrayed a total solution of automate4d environmental control system smart farming procedures and models, remote supervision system and so on.

At the conclusion of the dual show, there were 194 exhibitors and 292 booths hailing from 16 nations.

The shows attracted over 12,000 visitors. And, the first edition of the exhibition was supported by 17 domestic and international associations and exhibitions.
