Delta flight makes emergency landing in Reno

An aircraft of Delta Air Lines that was travelling to Los Angeles from Bois had been compelled to make an emergency landing in Reno on Monday morning, as per a spokeswoman of the airport.

The spokeswoman, who is named Trish Tucker from Reno Tahoe International Airport confirmed that the airplane had to be diverted in the early morning hours of 11th September.

Tucker said that it is yet to be known as to why the plane chose to make the diversion.

Thereafter, however, the plane was capable of landing absolutely safely and none of the passengers or crew members have been injured. A spokesperson for SkyWest that had been operating the flight as Delta Connection mentioned in an email about the diversion of flight 4564. He said that the diversion was on account of  ‘mechanical indication’.

The passengers disembarked at the gate.

Later, mechanics inspected the aircraft before they returned to continue the flight to Los Angeles, as stated in the email.
